On November 27, 2023, the newly elected executive members of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) were sworn in.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Conference Room in Accra served as the venue for the induction event.

The remaining members include the Executive Committee members Ohene Bampoe Brenya, Franklyn Anane Gyimah, and Tilda Eliman Acolor, as well as Charles Osei Asibey, the General Secretary, Kenneth Odeng Adade, the Deputy General Secretary, Owuraku Nsiah, the Treasurer, and Mavis Amanor, the Women’s Commissioner.

Albert Kwabena Dwomfuor, President of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), commended SWAG for their excellent efforts over the years and urged the association to keep removing unprofessional people from the field.
