Globally acclaimed artiste Shatta Wale has expressed interest in taking over as the head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana.
Have you finished laughing hard yet after reading the first paragraph? Well, get this, Wale: just like every other Ghanaian, he grew tired of the team’s poor results.
With a recent USD100,000 donation to fund supporters’ trip to support the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Wale, in a livestream, considered himself for the role.
“Or make I go coach the team? Cos if I dey coach the team like them all go chop demma mothers. Herh play the ball (2x). Ebi so them for dey talk to them so them for know say shishiishi come the tin inside. Them go know say coach go fit beat person,” said Wale.
Of course, any investor would like to see good returns from the venture he or she invested into, and that is what Shatta Wale funnily plans to do.
What a sight it would be to see one of the most loved Ghanaian music superstars crossing over to the field of football management.
