The Ghana Education Service has ordered the headmaster of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School in the Volta Region to step aside from his position.
This follows reports of alleged involvement in sexual misconduct with female students of the school.
The headmaster, Mr Joshua Vidzro, was ordered to vacate the school premises by today, Monday, December 8, 2025.
Mr Vidzro must remain available to assist investigations when needed, whether there is a presumption of guilt or not.
Ketu North’s municipal director of education will now steer the school administratively until further notice.
