Fahad Al-Muwallad, a Saudi Arabian international, fell from his Dubai apartment balcony and is now in critical condition.
According to the player’s club, Al-Shabab, the accident happened at the 30-year-old’s residence on Thursday.
Police in the area verified that Al-Muwallad, who has made 78 appearances for his nation, “fell from the balcony of his second-floor home”.
The press release stated that “investigations are ongoing, and the competent authorities will be informed of the results of these investigations once they are completed” .
