Otto Addo has assured the first gentleman of the land, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, of the Black Stars of Ghana’s readiness ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The team was honoured by the visit of President John Mahama, who encouraged the players and urged them to put the past behind them and focus on the tasks ahead.
Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, appreciated the President’s presence at the training ground and expressed determination to ensure the team works together to achieve success.
“It is a strong signal for all of you to come here to support us. We know that it is a very difficult situation, but we believe in the strength of our players and technical team.
They have worked a lot and want to show you that we would do everything we can on Friday to make you happy, and after that I think things would be easier,” the coach said.
The Black Stars will take on Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m.
