Veteran Nollywood actress and producer, Omotola Jalade, thanked God for surviving a surgery to take out her gallbladder.
According to her, it was a life-threatening experience when she had to be rushed to the hospital countless times.
The actress said this in a post on social media on November 28, 2024, which she detailed her ordeal, which started weeks ago with intermittent back and chest pains.
Omotola said after being rushed to the hospital twice due to the chest and back pains, she experienced a severe stomachache, which necessitated her to be rushed to the hospital for the third time.
After extensive tests, including a CT scan and MRI, she had to undergo an immediate emergency surgery to take out her gallbladder as doctors declared it was “dilated.”
“Have you been told by a doctor, ‘There’s nothing more we can do’? And you still feel like you’re dying? I was rushed again to the emergency… the third time!”
“This time, I was wheeled in straight for a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. Then the doctor came in and said you have to go in immediately for surgery! … to remove your gallbladder!!! It was so dilated, the doctors wondered how I was not in more pain. More pain??!!!” she posted
Omotola was recovering fully, and she used the opportunity to encourage fans to count their blessings, regardless of their current situation.
