Legendary gospel icon Moses OK has advised men to choose a spouse based on the purpose and mandate ordained to them by God.

According to him, marrying multiple partners can divert the course of a man’s life and frowns against it.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Max Morning Show in Accra on Wednesday, the “Mene No Anante” hitmaker indicated that men should define their purpose to choose a suitable partner.

“You need to know your mandate and choose a woman based on the purpose of God for your life,” he said.

Moses Ok, who frowned on polygamy, noted that marrying multiple partners aided men in maltreating a woman.

That, he said, was against the core concept of God instructing men to love their wives.

“Having multiple partners will not make you love them. You will maltreat them because when you force one to do something and she refuses, you will quickly switch to the other,” Moses Ok said.

Citing a scripture, he noted that God created a partner suitable for Adam based on his mandate on earth and urged men not to marry only for sexual gratification.

Moses Ok also charged them to love their wives irrespective of their flaws, mistakes, and shortcomings in fulfilment of God’s words.
