Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC have completed the signing of Ghanaian winger Augustine Okrah in a permanent deal worth US$150,000 from Bechem United.
The Ghanaian international sealed a return to the Tanzanian top flight after a previous stint with Yanga’s bitter rivals, Simba FC.
Okrah’s superb form in the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League, scoring 8 goals in 15 appearances, attracted the attention of Africa’s top clubs, but he resigned to join CAF Champions League side Yanga.
The 30-year-old has a history of switching between top rival clubs, like previously with Al Hilal SC and Al Merreikh.
