#MaxNews: We need to feed the mind, not just the body —James Kwesi Addison

Date:

According to James Kwesi Addison, a certified EQ coach, mindset is the mental attitude that is marked by flexibility, resilience, drive, and positivity.

He said that someone should employ the qualities he listed before putting their mind to anything. He gave an example of how one can live a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym and then giving up junk food.

Speaking on the subject of “Developing Your Mindset” on Friday’s Max Morning Show in Accra, Addison stated that it is important to nourish the mind in addition to the body.

”Resilience is the mind’s ability to store or deal with pressure despite occasional setbacks and even do better in the near future.”

He continued by saying that one should be concentrated before developing a strong intellect. A person needs to be aware of their goals.

“This year I made up my mind to study, so I planned to read 5 books, of which I’ve read 2 so far.”

“It got to a time when I wanted to study, so I placed a ban on myself to avoid TV and radio interviews for two years, which I lifted in January”.

According to him, being positive entails being able to erase unsupported beliefs and swap them out for reasoned ones.

“Revolution today has become a common word in the mouths of the people; it’s very important that I was able to travel to that point”.

He stated that his goal is to become the best EQ coach in all of Africa.
