Musical duo Dope Nation has asserted that those in love are suffering from a mental condition and should be checked.
According to them, a relationship is just an act of commitment and can never be likened to love.
Speaking in an interview ahead of Valentine to express their opinion about love, the twins indicated that love comes with its own complications and is prone to heartbreak.
“We are not dating; the world is complex, and you experience a lot of stuff. Most people in love happen to be in a situation, and it is all in your head,” they claimed.
Dope Nation emphasized that love was a scam and that being committed to someone in this era was expensive.
“Love is a scam because it is only real when you believe in it. If you don’t believe in it, it’s like a façade. No, that is not love; it is a commitment, and being committed to someone is expensive, especially in this part of the world,” they said.
The “Clap” hitmaker argued that they might not have reached the point of falling in love completely, thus making them the last virgins in Ghana.
“Maybe we’ve not reached the status when we’d fall in love completely. We are Ghana’s only and last virgins; we’ve never dated before. We’ve not had any sexual encounters,” they shared.
