MAX GPLL 2023/24: Kotoko beaten at Dun’s Park by Bibiani Gold Stars

At the Dun’s Park on Saturday afternoon, Bibiani Gold Stars defeated Asante Kotoko 2-1 in the second week of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

After their opening match ended in a scoreless draw, Bibiani Gold Stars have now recorded their first victory of the new campaign.

In the beginning of the game, both sides fought for dominance in the middle of the park as they concluded the first half without scoring after Gold Stars scored in the 17th minute, but the goal was disallowed when the referee checked with his assistants.

In the 66th minute, Gold Stars’ Prince Owusu Kwabena broke the tie. Sherif Mohammed of the guests scored the equalizer in the 71st minute.

Eric Bosomtwi scored the decisive goal for Bibiani Gold Stars in the 74th minute,
