MAX EPL: Why Man Utd drew 2-2 with Tottenham – Ten Hag

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has claimed his team has “the worst schedule in the Premier League” this season. anchester United boss Erik ten Hag has claimed his team has “the worst schedule in the Premier League” this season.

However, the Dutchman insists the Red Devils cannot use it as an excuse for throwing away a two-goal lead at Tottenham.

Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford gave United a two-goal lead in the first half.
But the hosts fought back through Pedro Porro and Heung-Min Son.

“Today they were not ready. We thought 90 percent was enough; that’s why we gave balls away. And when you don’t do your job in positioning, you concede goals.

“After halftime, there was a difference; we lost control because we were not all secure. Then you have to go into the fight.

“When you lose the battles, you don’t have possession and don’t have chances; you concede goals. That’s what happened. Then you have to be satisfied and take that point,” Ten Hag said.

The result means United remain in fourth place with 60 points, while Spurs climbed up to fifth with 54 points.
Ten Hag’s men welcome Aston Villa in their next fixture, while Tottenham are away to Liverpool.
