LUTON TOWN 0-1 TOTTENHAM: Resilient Tottenham go top of the league

Date:

With ten men on the field, Tottenham Hotspur kept their unblemished record intact and topped the Premier League with a tight victory against Luton.

Following Yves Bissouma’s dismissal shortly before halftime, Spurs were down to 10 men.

Micky van de Ven scored his first goal for the team on minute 52 after James Maddison cut back the ball from a short corner to give Spurs the lead.

Spurs, under Ange Postecoglou, have not lost in their last eight Premier League contests and are two points in front of Manchester City, who play Arsenal on Sunday.
