Voting is underway in 19 polling stations across the Ablekuma North Constituency, where the Electoral Commission (EC) is holding a crucial parliamentary rerun to determine the final winner of the disputed seat.
Both candidates—Ewurabena Aubynn of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)—have been seen at various polling centres, interacting with voters and observing the process.
The electoral exercise has so far been peaceful and orderly, with strong security and voter participation reported.
