Elisha Owusu of Ghana scored the game-winning goal for AJ Auxerre in their 2-1 victory over Troyes on Sunday in French Ligue 2.
Senegalese defender Abdoulaye Ndiaye’s inadvertent own goal in the 21st minute gave the visitors the lead right away. However, it was Malian striker Jaures Assoumou who gave Troyes an equalizer in the 75th minute.
Owusu’s turning point occurred in extra time when he took advantage of a chance presented by Gaetan Perrin to give Auxerre the victory.
