Black Stars forward Joseph Paintsil scored a brace for the Los Angeles Galaxy as they reached the Western Conference Final in the 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs.
The Los Angeles Galaxy, aka LA Galaxy, thrashed Minnesota United 6-2 on Sunday afternoon with Gabriel Pec also grabbing a brace thanks to splendid assists from German legend Marco Reus.
Kelvin Yeboah cancelled out the Galaxy’s 1st minute lead through Gabriel Pec and scored once again through the penalty spot to reduce the deficit just before halftime after Dejan Jovelijic and Joseph Paintsil had scored for the home team.
Paintsil added to Pec’s second of the game to make the score 5-2 before Jovelijic put the final nail in Minnesota’s coffin to seal a commanding 6-2 victory to set up a mouthwatering final against the Seattle Sounders.
