‘Job Not Done’ – Otto Addo Warns

Date:

Otto Addo has warned fans and players to stay focused after Ghana’s dominant 3-0 victory over Madagascar in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on Monday in Morocco.

A brace from Thomas Partey and a close-range strike from Mohammed Kudus secured the win, pushing Ghana five points clear in Group I. With 15 points, the Black Stars are in a strong position, but Addo insists the job is far from over.

“We are in a good position, but this is also a danger. Maybe if Comoros win, we will be just three points ahead, and there’s still a long way to go. We have to focus,” Addo said.

Ghana, aiming for a fifth World Cup appearance, cannot afford complacency as the qualifiers continue.
