Inaki Williams: ‘I will give my best and defend the Black Stars jersey’

Inaki William, a forward for the Spanish La Liga team Athletic Bilbao, has declared his intention to represent Ghana’s Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Qatar later this year.

The Ghanaian striker, who was born in Spain, confirmed on his Twitter page that he is ready to represent the Black Stars, claiming that he will “protect the shirt.”

His decision to represent Ghana after extensive conversations with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), led by President Kurt Okraku, is a positive development and a significant boost for Ghana.
