I was “slapped” in Kumasi because of Hearts—TT Brothers

Date:

Isaac Tetteh, popularly known as “TT Brothers,” recounted a time he was slapped in Kumasi during a game Hearts of Oak was involved in.

TT Brothers lamented the violence football stakeholders have been subjected to, dwelling on the gruesome murder of Asante Kotoko fan, Nana Pooley, in Nsoatre on February 2, 2025.

Speaking to Nana Darkwa Gyasi in an exclusive interview, he shared a time football fans of a team in Kumasi physically assaulted him simply because he was with Accra Hearts of Oak.

“It is difficult to control tensions created by others. Others take the law into their own hands and do things they aren’t supposed to do.

If I tell you because of football, I have been slapped in Kumasi because I was a management member. They thought that because of my influence could help Hearts of Oak win,” he said on Max TV.

Isaac Tetteh condemned violence in football, insisting the beautiful game as we know it is for all to enjoy and not to hurt each other over.
