At the interdenominational state funeral being held in honour of the eight fallen heroes, the wife of Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala has been left heartbroken by his demise.

Ursula Wematu Asaghedewe, wife of the Squadron Leader, delivered a heartfelt tribute to her deceased husband on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Black Stars Square.

Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala was a victim of the Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash on August 6, while on duty for his beloved country, Ghana.
