Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Bibiani Gold Stars 5-0 in a Ghana Premier League match day 20 game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko started the game on a high with George Mfegue reacting quicker to a mistake by goalkeeper Ernest Kussi to make it 1-0.
The Cameroonian striker then combined beautifully with Mbella and his second was a thing of beauty in the 35th minute.
Kotoko went into the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead and they did not relax as they came in search for more in the second half.
Augustine Agyapong’s shot outside the box deflected off a Bibiani Gold Stars defender in the 59th minute to make it 3-0.
Frank Mbella also had his name on the score sheet 4-0 from the spot kick in the 80th minute. This is his 14th goal of the season.
Samuel Boateng who came from the bench to replace Mfegue made it 5-0 and a resounding victory for Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors are firmly on top of the Ghana Premier League table with 44 points.
