King Faisal recorded a 2-1 over WAFA in match day 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
The game which was played at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena was a must win for either side.
After a goalless first half it was King Faisal that struck first.
Ibrahim Osman’s shot in the early part of the second half was parried by goalkeeper Boliver Owusu but Osman reacted quickly to nod the ball past him to make it 1-0.
WAFA pushed forward and grabbed the equalizer after Captain Konadu Yiadom latched home from close range.
It looked like WAFA would go on to win the game but it was King Faisal that had the final say as Ibrahim Osman laid a beautiful pass to Mawuli Wayo who had a simple task of sliding the ball into the net.
The game ended 2-1 in favor of King Faisal and that leaves WAFA still in the relegation zone.
