Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Ashantigold 3-1 in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) game.
The game which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium saw both teams unable to break the deadlock in the first half.
The second half opened up more as Cameroonian Frank Mbella put Kotoko ahead in the 55th minute.
In the 67th minute, he added a second after Ashgold defender Empem Dacosta made an error.
He completed his hat trick in the 73rd minute when he rose highest to head in Kotoko’s third.
Elijah Addai scored a late consolation for Ashgold as the game is ended 3-1 in favour of Kotoko.
