GPL WK 4: Legon Cities and Berekum Chelsea split the winnings.

After splitting the spoils with Berekum Chelsea on matchday four of the Ghana Premier League, Legon Cities was unable to capitalize on playing at home.

Despite having numerous scoring chances, neither team was able to score during the highly anticipated match on Sunday at the El-Wak Stadium.

Following the intermission, Legon Cities, who were focused, took the lead in the 59th minute when Alex Aso scored.

The visitors, who have been playing really well this season, didn’t give up, however, as Mezack Afriyie’s goal in the 64th minute made it a draw.

Legon Cities hoped to continue their winning streak, but Chelsea ended up being a more formidable foe.

Berekum After the draw, Chelsea lost their position atop the standings. After four games, they currently hold the third spot with 8 points, while Legon Cities is in sixth place with 7.
