Legon Cities have appointed former Black Stars player Joachim Yaw Acheampong as new head coach.
Yaw Acheampong replaces Paa Kwesi Fabin, who left the relegation-threatened side, Legon Cities.
Acheampong was sacked by his former team, Aduana FC, after a string of poor results in the 2025-25 Ghana Premier League.
Despite finishing fifth last season, the management of Aduana FC had their sights on this season’s league title.
Legon Cities would be targeting an escape from the drop zone of the league standings when Acheampong assumes his new role as head coach of the Accra-based club.
