Gold Stars, Kotoko to know CAFCL/CC opponents

Date:

Bibiani Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko will know their opponents in the preliminary rounds of Africa’s elite club competitions.

The preliminary rounds draw of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Gold Stars are set to compete against clubs from other African countries for a place in the group stages (money zone) of the Champions League after winning the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

MTN FA Cup winners, the Porcupine Warriors, will also battle it out to earn a place at the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Kotoko will be hoping their return to elite continental football will end gloriously, as Gold Stars are making their debut in the Champions League.
