A joint operation by the Ghana Police Service, the National Signals Bureau, and Nigeria Police Force has led to the arrest of eight persons.
The suspects were apprehended for the abduction of two women. A disturbing video of one of the victims stripped naked and physically assaulted went viral.
The Ghana Police issued an official statement on May Day confirming the arrest of the suspects, and rescue of the two women.
