At the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, Accra Great Olympics defeated Bechem United 2-0 to claim the title of 2022 Ghalca G6 champions.
Prior to the new season, goals from Adrian Adjetey and Abdul Yusif Razak earned the “Dade” boys their first trophy.
Yusif headed in a perfectly executed corner kick from close range to score the game’s first goal.
Kofi Agbesimah, the captain of Bechem United, was given a red card when the ball bounced off his hand, and Great Olympics were given a penalty kick as a result.
In the 47th minute, Adrian Adjetey skillfully scored from the penalty spot to double the Olympic lead.
Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, a former Ghanaian international, attempted to score on a free kick from 25 yards out, but Bechem United’s goalie saved it.
After a sluggish start, Coach Yaw Preko led Great Olympics to victory, defeating Berekum Chelsea and Karela United in the competition.
