GFA CONGRESS UPDATES: EX-BLACK STARS PLAYERS TO GET INSURANCE POLICIES

Date:

Edwin Simon Kurt Okraku, president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), announced during the FA regular congress at the KNUST Great Hall in Kumasi that he would implement a Life and Funeral Insurance policy for all former national team players.

Kurt E. S. Okraku pledged to put into practice the policy that will allow former members of the Ghana National Football Team to benefit from a Life and Funeral Insurance Policy at the end of their professional careers when speaking during the Address by the President, the fifth item on the Congress agenda.

The GFA president stated in his submission that the FA’s top priority should be the well-being of players who play for the National Team during their playing careers.
