Former Super Falcons goalkeeper Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni has passed away following an 8-year battle with cancer.
The Nigerian Football Federation expressed immense sadness over the demise of the former goalkeeper who died last week in a post on ‘X’.
Bidemi was instrumental for Nigerian League sides Rivers Angels and Sunshine Queens during her playing time.
Despite the NFF’s intervention and financial contribution to help cover her medical expenses, it proved futile to save the 30-year-old goalkeeper.
