At the club, Leo asks JC about his dating life, he is surprised to hear that JC never dated Grace.
Leo also shares his love life but JC believes his story is more painful.
They both made a toast to all the upcoming women in their lives.
Their conversation shifts to Rich and poor people; Leo believes money can’t buy happiness whiles JC believes the opposite.
Leo asks for the bail.
Meanwhile, Alfie (Ofie) is escaping from the orphanage but one girl spots her and asks her to go back inside but she has already made up her mind to leave, Ofie managed to escape the place.
At home, Eugene tells Joan that he believes Ulysses is behind the kidnappings because the place Ofie mentioned belongs to Ulysses.
Just then, the father calls Joan and informs her about Ofie’s escape.
She decided to inform JC about it but Eugene asks him to stop because he will handle it.
A drunk Leo and JC stop in the middle of the road to play a game.
The scene shifts to Ofie as she goes back to his home to take the money she and Bernardo saved, she recalls Ben telling her about a book containing all the details about his business.
Back to the boys, Leo set up some bottles and gets 2 guns from his car, they are going to test their shooting skills, JC questions him about the gun licenses, Leo replies asking if he is a cop but JC cooks up a story saying he is asking because they might get caught.
Meanwhile, a shadow is seen holding a gun at the back of Ofie’s house.
And is none other than Adolfo and his men, Eugene also arrives at the house looking for Ofie but Adolfo and his men noticed this and leaves the place with Ofie.
Looking at JC’s shooting skills, Leo is impressed but hides it and blames JC for cheating because he is not drunk enough, they both get back to the club to drink more.
JC brags about his mother’s cooking so Leo decided to tag along to try the food but when he called Joan, she breaks the news about Ofie’s escape.
JC asks a security guard to take care of Leo.
JC has been searching for Ofie at the bus stop till the next day, Joan is paranoid so she informs Grace’s mother about it.
JC goes back to the parking area to check on Leo who spends the night in his car.
Leo is amazed at JC’s kindness.
When Leo got home, he gets a call from Ulysses informing him about Ofie.
Leo dressed up and comes to where Ofie is held captive.
Ulysses touches Ofie because they believe she was trying to expose them.
Leo watches this sympathetically as Adolfo and Ulysses finally end Ofie’s life.
When Ulysses got home, Cordelia believes Ofie must have told someone at the orphanage about them.
On the other hand, JC gets to know from his mother that Ofie mentioned the empire hotel as the place where an upcoming transaction is about to be held.
Later, Cordelia is with Hugo talking about random stuff, Gwen is leaving the house so Cordelia advises her to be careful.
When she left, Hugo talks about their kind of business and how scared it is but Cordelia don’t give a dime about it as far as they make ends meet.
A worker at the NBI informs JC that the boss wants him at the office.
When JC get home, he told his mother about Leo and their newfound friendship.
They are packing some stuff to donate to the orphanage.
JC went through some old documents and found the receipt Joan got when she sold Airis.
Joan takes the file from him and goes inside and weeps as she recalled how she left Airis all by himself.
At the office, Eugene interrogate a suspect “Ranilio” about the shootings of the 2 policemen and Bernardo but the man denied it because he is ready to spend his life in jail.
Meanwhile, someone (his face is not shown) is released from jail and his fellow inmates are happy for him as he signs his last document.
When Eugene gets home, Joan begs him to speed up his search for Dante because she has a lot of unanswered questions.
