FIFA Women’s World Cup: NFF to sack coach Randy Waldrum

Date:

Randy Waldrum, the manager of the Super Falcons, is close to losing his job as a result of his ongoing disputes with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Members of the federation claim that the coach, who has been criticizing the NFF’s leadership, will be required to travel with his assistants while leading the team to the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Waldrum claims that the NFF owes him money and some players money, as well as trying to impose players on him.

The NFF has responded, calling the coach the worst for the national team since its formation through Communication Director Ademola Olajire.

The coach’s goal, according to a recent remark by Olajire, was to add getting Nigeria to the World Cup to his résumé.

The American will no longer serve as the Super Falcons manager, according to strong indications from the NFF, which is anticipated to make its announcement before noon on Friday, July 7.
