Star signing Liam Delap made his Chelsea debut at the FIFA Club World Cup on Monday night in Atlanta, United States of America.
The Blues won their opening match against the Los Angeles Football Club in front of nearly 50,000 empty seats.
Pedro Neto’s near-post shot after being sent clear in the first half was followed by a close-range tap-in from Enzo Fernandez, assisted by Delap’s fine cross from the right.
Midfielder Dario Essugo also made his debut for Chelsea, who have now won eight of their past nine matches.
