Manchester United supporters claimed on social media that the debate over who the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League is had been settled after Carlos Henrique Casemiro was chosen for the FIFA FIFPRO World XI.
Fans have been debating who is the best defensive midfielder for weeks between Casemiro and Thomas Partey of Arsenal.
Manchester United supporters argue that Partey and Casemiro should not be compared because Partey is not even near to Casemiro’s caliber.
Yet, due of his role in the Gunners’ success in the English Premier League, Partey is viewed as the better player by Arsenal fans.
Arsenal supporters should avoid associating Partey with the Brazilian defensive midfielder because Manchester United supporters now believe that the debate has been settled as a result of their man being acknowledged as one of the best players in the world.
