FC Barcelona eye move for Partey

Date:

UK-based Ghanaian journalist Rahman Osman has reported for The Sun on FC Barcelona‘s interest in Arsenal player Thomas Partey.

With Partey, 31, yet to receive an extension offer as his current contract with the Gunners is set to expire at the end of June, FC Barcelona has registered a serious interest in him.

The La Liga champions are looking to snap up the experienced Ghanaian international to provide more options in their midfield for free.

Atletico Madrid are also reported to rival Barcelona to re-sign Partey after selling him to Arsenal in 2020.

Despite Mikel Arteta’s public confession of wanting the former Black Stars captain to remain with the North London side, a formal offer is yet to be presented to him.
