Accra Girls’ Old Students Association (AGOSA) holds first-ever brunch meeting. At the event, there was an induction into office of a nine-member Advisory Council and Electoral Council.
The brunch also served as an opportunity for various year groups (old and young) to network and have fun as the 65th anniversary and speech day of Accra Girls’ High School (AGISS) fast approaches.
Professor Adelaide Naa Amerley Kastner, National President of AGOSA, beat the drum about the need for the various year groups to unite, as she commended past executives of the Advisory Council and Electoral Council.
The various year groups— 1993, 2000, 1995, 1990, 1992, 1991, 2005, and 1974 supported the event to ensure its success with their respective cherished contributions in cash and kind.
Mrs Kukua Kosima Quansah, an alumna of the school and current Assistant Headmistress for Fettehman SHS, called for unity and mutual respect amongst all AGOSANs for the betterment of their alma mater.
The biggest girls’ school in Accra, AGISS, has called on the support of all and sundry as it turns 65 years old in September 2025.
