Fifteen-time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid, reportedly have on their transfer wishlist for the summer of 2025, four Premier League defenders.
Following their blockbuster acquisition of France captain Kylian Mbappee, whom they have pursued for years, the Spanish giants have set eyes on England full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Spanish midfielder Rodri, France centre-back William Saliba, and Argentine centre-back Cristian Romero.
Financially, Real Madrid have no problem securing these targets, but convincing Trent Alexander-Arnold to leave his boyhood club Liverpool for the Spanish capital would seem quite difficult.
The grapevine had it that scouts from Madrid were present at the North London derby on Sunday, September 15, having a look at William Saliba and Cristian Romero.
Euro 2024 winner Rodri, who has been invaluable for Manchester City, is believed to be considering a return to Madrid to play for his former side’s bitter rivals.
