Dormaahene Donates to Family of Slain Footballer Dominic Frimpong

Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, Dormaahene, has generously donated GH¢100,000 to the family of Dominic Frimpong during his funeral at Assin Dansame.

The late Dominic Frimpong, on loan from Aduana to Berekum Chelsea, died from gunshot wounds when the latter was en route back to Berekum.

The Berekum Chelsea team bus was attacked by armed robbers after playing against FC Samartex in Samaraboi.

Frimpong, who was only 20 years of age, was struck by a bullet, to which he gave up ghost upon arrival at the nearest hospital for treatment.

The management of Aduana FC, on behalf of the club’s owner, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II, donated to the family in commiseration.

In addition, the playing staff of both Berekum Chelsea and Aduana FC donated a total amount of GH¢20,000 to Frimpong’s family.
