Disciplinary Committee blame Nations FC for CAM Park commotion

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has responded to the separate petitions filed by Basake Holy Stars and Nations FC.

The matchday 33 encounter between Holy Stars and Nations at the CAM Park in Anyinase, Western Region, ended abruptly following chaotic and disturbing incidents.

Controversial calls by the officiating referee and inadequate security compelled the visiting team, Nations FC, to walk off the pitch, eventually forfeiting the game despite leading the league standings.

Following the petitions filed by both clubs after that high-stakes game, the Disciplinary Committee has decided:
