David Abagna named Man of the Match in Ghana’s win over Sudan at CHAN 2022

David Abagna Sandam, a Ghanaian international, was named Man of the Match following his outstanding performance against Sudan on Thursday night.

When the Black Galaxies faced up against their Sudanese counterpart in the second Group C match of the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) competition, the Real Tamale United midfielder got the nod to start for Ghana.

David Abagna Sandam was one of the top players who inspired from midfield to lead the Black Galaxies to a 3-1 comeback victory against the opposition in a game where Ghana had many nerve-wracking moments.

According to CAF, he has been chosen as the Man of the Match for his amazing performances.

With today’s victory, Ghana has climbed to second place in Group C of the CHAN tournament.

The Black Galaxies now have a great chance of moving on to the tournament’s knockout round. Following the last group match between Sudan and Madagascar, the group will be decided the following week.
