The family of the late legendary highlife icon Charles Kwadwo Fosu, known in the industry as Daddy Lumba will on July 29 open a book of condolences to enable Ghanaians and all well wishers to pay their respect.‎

‎It will be held at the Private residence of the late singer at Kinshasha Crescent, house number 12 (GA-332-9264).

‎This was announced in a statement shared on the musician’s social platforms on July 27, 2025.

‎The statement indicated that the event will start at 9:00am and close at 4:00pm.

‎Through their lawyer Fati Ali Yallah, the Fosu family requested the public to continue to respect their privacy during this period of mourning.

‎Daddy Lumba died on Saturday dawn after days of being admitted at the Bank Hospital in Accra, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

‎His death is a heavy blow to the industry  and it has attracted lots of well wishers and meaningful people eulogizing him on social media.
