The head coach for Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, is targeting a comeback for his side after a first-leg home defeat.
The TnA Stadium for the first time hosted its first continental match on Sunday, when Medeama welcomed the DR Congo side, TP Mazembe.
Lise Ntumba Nyembo scored the only goal of the game late in the game following a swift counter-attack.
Ghana’s champions were guilty of failing to convert their chances in the first leg.
Now, Ibrahim Tanko, glad his team was creating chances, hopes for a turnaround in the second leg next Sunday in Kinshasha.
“The good thing is we created a lot of chances, so we could’ve scored some goals. Unfortunately, we couldn’t, and that’s football.
“We pushed in the second half to get our goal. When they got one contact, they scored.
“I am disappointed, but we have a second chance next Sunday.”
