#Bundesliga: Vincent Kompany becomes new Bayern Munich manager

Date:

Vincent Kompany has been officially confirmed as the new manager of German giants, FC Bayern Munich.

The Belgium international put pen to paper on a four-year deal with Bayern.

Kompany moved to Championship side Burnley from Anderletcht and guided them back to the Premier League in the 2022–23 season.

Unfortunately, the Clarinets failed to maintain their place in the big league as they suffered a swift demotion back to the EFL Championship.

The Bavarians’ decision to hire a coach of Kompany’s caliber appears brave but has come as a shock to football fans.

There’ll be keen eyes on the Bundesliga in the next few seasons to see how the former Belgium captain will fare.
