Buckingham Palace has received tens of thousands of ‘get well soon cards’ for the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who is battling cancer.
Kate, 42, withdrew from public life following a diagnosis to focus on treatment and recovery.
The huge volume of correspondence has at times been difficult for the team to cope with, according to the Palace’s correspondence team.
The Palace can receive up to 1,000 letters and gifts in a day, ever since the Princess of Wales made her condition public following speculations about her health.
Kensington Palace’s spokesman advised she needed to take care of herself to recover, as the Daily Mail UK reports she has been seen “out and about” with her family.
