Mohammed Salisu helped AS Monaco keep pace with Paris Saint German (PSG) courtesy of a massive away win over fellow countryman Alidu Seidu’s Stade Rennes.
The Black Stars versatile defender Seidu started the game for Rennes on Saturday at the Roazhon Park against the title-chasing Monaco.
Former PSG defender Kehrer gave Monaco the lead in the 6th minute before Blas restored parity for the home team five minutes later.
The United States of America Men’s National Team star, Folarin Balogun, regained the lead in the 22nd minute.
Salisu was introduced into the game in the 83rd minute to help defend Monaco’s lead after he scored his Champions League goal on Wednesday, October 2, against Dinamo Zagreb.
The two Ghanaian defenders have been called up by head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, for the upcoming 2025 AFCON double header against Sudan.
