Albert Amoah scored the winning goal for Kumasi Asante Kotoko as they beat Accra Lions 1-0 at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors displayed a dominating performance over the young Accra Lions team as they earned their second consecutive win in the league.

At the Golden City Park, Mizack Afriyie scored the only goal of the match as Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea inflicted a 1-0 defeat on league newcomers Young Apotsles.

Dreams FC were stunned at home by Abrankese’s Nations FC on Sunday. Nafiu Sulemana struck in the 80th minute to hand the traveling team all three points.

Hadi Mohammed’s late equalizer for Karela United ensured defending league champions, FC Samartex did not leave the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium with maximum points after Godwin Sefah had given the away team the lead.

MTN FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC welcomed under-performing Legon Cities to Nana Amoah Kronmansah II Park on Sunday. Richard Acquah, Walid Fuseini, and Morrison Anokye scored for the home side, while Alidu Mohammed pulled one back for Cities.
