ATHLETICS : New GAA executives meet Minister for Youth and Sports

Hon. Mustapha Ussif, the Minister for Youth and Sports welcomed the new executives of Ghana Athletics into office on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, as he paid a courtesy call by the organization’s new leadership.

Last month in Techiman, the association elected Bawa Fuseini to serve as its new president. Charles Osei Assibey, Zachariah Suleman Yeboah, Andrew Agbo Kitcher, and Comfort Selby-Agyapong were elected to serve as vice presidents.

Bawa Fuseini, the newly elected president, Charles Osei Asibey, the vice president in charge of administration, Francis Agbo Kitcher, Comfort Selby Agyapong, Christopher Amankrah, Treasurer, Deputy Organiser, Emmanuel Appiah Kubi, and Chief Executive Officer Phillipina Frimpong were present at the meeting.

The 13th African Games will be held in Accra in March 2024, and the association has started making major preparations for them.
