Alhaji Grusah, the Owner of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal, has revealed that clubs in the country are suffering financially because supporters do not want to pay for tickets when going to the stadium.
According to Alhaji Grusah, while gate proceeds are to serve as the primary income for clubs, the situation is very hard in the country with only Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko known to be benefiting from that avenue.
Because of the financial difficulties caused by the Coronavirus crisis, veteran football administrator Alhaji Grusah has said that supporter’s bad behavior towards paying for match tickets is why clubs are suffering.
“The downfall of our clubs is been caused by the supporters. They don’t want to pay money before going into the stadium, always free and it reduced our income”, he bemoaned.
Alhaji Grusah added, “I don’t get nothing from King Faisal now, only Hearts and Kotoko gate proceeds that we used to pay our debt”.
