Adjetey Anang advises actors to have a side job

Date:

Renowned actor Adjetey Anang popularly known as Pusher has advised colleagues to have a side job that will secure better income for them aside from acting.

According to him, having a secondary source of income will help them overcome the hardships that come with acting.

Speaking in a phone interview with Max TV on e-Quick last Friday, the actor explained that actors were not well paid in the country and were confronted with hardships.

“Yes actors are not well paid but it’s high time they find another source of income so that they don’t solely rely on the money the producers pay them, ” he stated.

Adjetey Anang noted that there were lots of costs involved in shooting a movie and sometimes producers even ran lost from the production.

He stated that producers were doing their best and the onus lied on the actors to attach another job to the acting.

That, he said would help them make money to overcome poverty, other than relying solely on the money they make from acting.
