Afro-Dancehall artist Stonebwoy has sparked controversy following his claims that there are two individuals who are faking friendship for personal benefits.

‎He made this speculation in an X post on May 30, which has generated online buzz that he was indirectly talking about Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.

“These two guys have been faking to each other based on interests and timing. Convenient friendship. Even the devil hates that,” Stonebwoy tweeted.

‎Though, the “Jejereje” hitmaker did not mention any name, showbiz observers concluded that the message was directed at fellow musicians Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.

‎Stonebwoy’s post comes at a time when Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were seen together in the United Kingdom performing at Kweku Smoke’s concert in Brixton on May 29, 2026.
